 A folding camper is a wheeled vehicle with a canvas/PVC cabin which unfolds to provide  living accommodation in a small trailer. Unlike a trailer tent the cabin does not need to be  pegged to the ground. Most of these units have purpose built awnings made by the  manufacturer of each folding camper.
