What is a trailer tent?

 A trailer tent is a wheeled vehicle with a canvas cabin which unfolds and extends to  provide living accommodation in a small trailer. Unlike a folding camper the cabin canvas  needs to be pegged to the ground. Most of these units have special awnings made by the  manufacturer of each trailer tent.
